On location at the film set of the Railway Children where I just happened to be being filmed working on the vintage signs there by a Meridian production company who were making a short film about the local area called The Loder Valley in October. It was great to meet the stars of the film
This was once a great Victorian dream of an endless uninterrupted steel road with no obsticles, traffic kews or parking problems, now is this not what we need so badly today ?

Our traditional finger post signs have been written about & photographed in The Sunday Telegraph, Sunday Express, two articles in Country Living Magazine, Radio Murcury FM as well as seen in the popular Meridian TV Series called Country Ways where I was interveiwed on the set of The Railway Children at the world famous Bluebell Steam Railway in Sussex. One of our cast finger post signs can be clearly seen in The Railway Children Film, another of our classic cast finger post signs has been featured in the national press concerning the sign at the top of this page, this sign is in the village of Trumpton & is featured on the Trumptonshire website, it made quite a media stir when erected for a few weeks at The Bluebell Railway Station at Horsted Keynes in Sussex. We have also been interviewed and photographed concerning the Ham Sandwich finger post sign in Finglesham Kent , the Abinger Hammer finger post in Surrey as well as the Father Christmas finger post at Underhill Lane Ditching Sussex used in the famous Raymond Briggs childrens book called (Father Christmas)
We also designed the cast finger post sign that points the way to Jane Austins house in the lovely Hampshire village of Chawton.
